My STBX has made no contribution towards the kids since last summer when he was working in a very well paid job.

In October he took on a job at a much lower rate but in the UK.

I lodged a claim with the CMS. His first payment was meant to be made in Feb, and one in March.

Firstly he claimed he had made a lump sum payment to me - not quite true (if you read my blog you will see what I mean) - this money will be dealt with in our divorce settlement.

He then stated that he is making mortgage payments - this is actually true, but since neither of us can afford the mortgage it is in arrears, the payment he made this month was less than the CMS payment due, and he is asking for 50% of the equity in the house - despite expecting me to house and maintain the kids full time (he has not had the kids overnight at all since separation - in spite of my requests for him to do so)

I have phoned the CMS on a number of occasions - they are very nice and polite, I get an apology, and nothing is done.

Any tips on how to make things move along?
