I have just found out my wife was having an affair with an adult instructor in the Army cadet force, now the problem is both my children go there for cadets, i have told my wife that i am not happy with them going anymore but i know my wife will still take them as i will be at work, so can i stop her taking them, they are 13 and 15 and both know about the affair.

If they still want to go then I would let them. It is bad enough that their family is breaking up; they shouldn't have to give up their cadet activities if they are enjoying them.

Best wishes,
Sadie

Some people have no discretion Mr Buttons. As long as they get what they want, they don't care who gets caught in the crossfire, not even their own children.
