Some very good and detailed reply's.

To break it down in simple terms.

You ask your ex if its ok to take the kid/s on holiday and she/he says no chance.

You then make an application for a section 8 specific issues order to get permission from court.

To help the application offer telephone skype contact with the kids while your away.

Offer the NRP an equal amount of time as the holiday.

Give the NRP full details of the holiday where when and what they will be doing.

Being as reasonable as possible should result in permission from court.

Stuff that can cause problems,

Where are you going if Iran Angola, there are obvious problems.

Are you considered a flight risk, if court think you may not return in other words, especially if the country you intend to visit would be difficult to repatriate the child/ren from.

The health of the kid/s is important, would they be well cared for where you intend to go should they become ill perhaps with an ongoing illness or disability.

If the holiday is two weeks in France and there are no ongoing issues the presumption is court will allow the holiday.
