Hi wikis

I was hoping someone could help me with a question I have.

I provided the CSA with all my details (i.e. payslips, employer details etc) around five weeks ago so that they could make calculations on how much CM I needed to pay. Around 10 days after I gave them this info they got in touch with me and asked me to confirm that all the details I provided were correct – again I did this via phone a couple of days after receiving their letter.

That was nearly three weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything back from them – is this normal? I’m conscious that the longer they take to process payment amount and schedule, the more backdated maintenance I will have to make so I am keen to get this sorted.

Any info that wiki’s can provide would be great

Thanks

Hi. My experience of CSA is you just have to keep ringing them! It took me 12 months to get a decision out of them for maintenance from my ex and yes he has to pay the arrears.

At least you are trying to pay, good luck!

Thanks for your response ... wow 12 months! I definately do not want it to go on for that long. I will call and try to get an update on what is happening.

Thanks
