Hi all.

Just wondered if anyone knew what happens when a party to child hearings doesn't respond to there solicitor etc regarding proceedings ?

Basically my ex partner has been absent throughout my son life growing up and I have raised him alone, I gave up my business etc to be there for him to support him at home and raise him and have always been his main carer.

The courts made an order for contact as my ex partner lied and took me to court for no reason and tried to get residence of our son despite never being there for him in the past and walking out on us both.

The courts refused her residence but made a contact order and due to this my son is devastated and an emotionally hurt.
He is now seeing far less of me than he ever had and doesn't want to be with his mother and so on....

I have reason to believe she is still never there for him and he is left with others whilst she put her career first.
She also has a new partner and another child to him and our son is confused by it all and really upset.
My solicitor has been waiting in a response for over 4 weeks now and had nothing back, my ex partner had changed number also and I think she is ignoring her solicitor as I am contesting the contact order for my son so he can be happy once again and back with me where he has always been.
I think she's afraid because if this goes to a final proof hearing she will not be able to prove anything she had said as it's all lies and she cannot prove any of it where as I can prove everything since as sra back in 2011.

Many thanks in advance for your help and advice.
