I have to go into civil court for a family matter (it’s a finding of facts hearing against my ex )

I had a stroke 3 weeks ago which has left it hard for me to walk(can with a stick )
And very emotional high anxiety …(strokes are bought on by very high leaves of stress)

I only have a barrister whom I do not really know that well (nit met her yet will meet her on the day)

Its for 2 days and I'm going to very stressed
Can I take a friend in to court with me just so they can keep an eye on me and for support.

Thanks
