What a horrible mess, and I was hoping - as I am sure you were - that this would all be sorted by now.

I only wish I had some constructive advice but all I can say is, just keep being the secure, positive force in your boys' lives.

It would be nice to think your stbx would get a wake up call any day now about what he has done/is doing, but I won't hold my breath.

I know very well you are not 'one of those mothers who will stop contact', as anyone will who has read your postings!

It is very difficult to know what to say in a situation like this. The bottom line, as a barrister of my acquaintance once put it, is that the system is f****d. We try to help and advise but sometimes have to admit defeat. All you can do is wait for the CAFCASS report. And wait.

I really do feel very sorry for you and your children. And very angry.
