Presume you are in Cyprus due to short assignment of your partner and not moved there permanently? There could be instances where access can be governed by Cyproit law though I am not sure if you would want to go down that route.

Maybe you need to establish why your daughters dont want to talk to him - it is in their long term interests to do so though at their age they may not see it that way.

Also what are the arrangements for visitation? What does the court order you got in order to move says?

Do you mean made to come back for hearings, or made to come back?

Everyone has the right to access justice and a fair hearing and if you do not attend you would not be there to put your side of the story across to the judge before a decision is made. If the case is fairly straight forward it might be possible to make special arrangements such as a solicitor representing you and/or video conferencing.

Despite his failings your ex is the children's father and children raised in insecurity about their parentage develop low self esteem which leads to poor attachments, dysfunctional relationships and emotional ill-health. Are there pictures of him around the house? Do you recall with the children stories of loving things he has done? Do you tell them they look like him or take after him in some ways?

Well, if the children have another "Dad" and don't want to know their other "Dad" and haven't seen him for such a long time, why would you want the other "Dad" to keep paying you child support whilst you are in another Country and want him out of your lives?

Don't you think he might be a bit ticked off at having to pay for something that he can't see and that they refer to your Partner as their Father?
