Unfortunately not (and I beleive they should be so as to act as an incentive in some cases where contact is being denied without good reason).

If applying for an enforcement order for contact costs can be awarded but whether they are is a different thing. I have my case for enforcement this week.

i am trying for proper contact and shared residence of my two girls and during the final hearing it was adjourned part heard to give my ex wife time to make up some new false allegations against me, the judge reserved costs and my solicitor said the judge must think she is being unreasonable otherwise he wouldn't have reserved costs.what do you think?.

Basically what normally happens is:

Actual divorce itself is paid for by the respondent.

Ancilary Relief is paid for by each party unless there has been gross misconduct

Child contact is usually paid by each party.

Child contact enforcement costs can be awarded.

If the judge is reserving judgement it probably relates to costs for AR and the divorce itself rather than th children side.
