Advice and knowledge appreciated.

I attended court about a month ago, on the date of our Decree Nisi being issued, we were still living together at this time.
At the court my stbx announced she was moving out to a new place on July 1st. The judge briefly chatted about the options and then made an order which indicated that the 2 children (3b & 7g) were to move from the FMH to move with her, pending further order on first date after July 6th, but to have reasonable contact with me including overnight stays.
This was not what I wanted as I had asked for a an agreement to share care, but judge didn't "have time" when I questioned the order at the end.

2 Qustions:
1.The first part of the order says that the mother is deemed to have applied for an order regulating residence and contact in respect of the children, no application had been made. Is it right that the judge was able to do this and make an order on the day ???

2.I read on this forum www.wikivorce.com/divorce/Divorce-Forum/...Initial-hearing.html )last post by ClimbMountains) that the judge can only order anything agreed by both of us. Is this true ?
