Hi there.

Have asked my stbx to allow me to add my Maiden Name to our daughter's surname as I want to revert back to it once all is settled. More importantly I want to be able to retain an identity with my daughter too,....

Any advice? has anyone done this and been successful? any case that I could reference in my application to the court as have lodged a specific orders issue

Would appreciate any help

As I said in chat, you may just about convince a judge this is a good idea on the basis that your child is very young, but it is unlikely. The case you want to read is Dawson v Wearmouth (just google it, the link to the HL report comes up). You should also read the threads by madaboutcars.
