Konichiwa,

I'm currently reading Shogun by James Clavell and I'm loving it! Just over half way through and I'm dreading having to put it down :(

I'm looking for more fiction set in historic Japan but not sure how to find anything.

I think I might try Memoirs of a Geisha next but any other suggestions would be great.

Arigato

;)

Hows about forgetting the novels and going for The Barbarian and The Geisha starring big John Wayne! lol

Seriously though, try The Last Samurai by Helen DeWitt. x
