can someone help me...15 months ago my ex stated he would pay 350 a month for maintenance for our son.
as this this is a private agreement I''ve asked him to check with csa as if his wages have risen he has to rise it.
he has told me different amounts of what he earns and has now come back with a figure of 3848 a year with a sum of 320 a month.
would the csa tell him a yearly figure if so what is his yearly wage.
this guy is such hard work and is driving me mad...help

Is he self employed ? If he is PAYE I would just make a CSA application if you don''t trust the figures.

no he works for a company...I''ve requested a payslip as he stated an amount of 350 through solicitors...which was 15 months ago...he won''t show a wage slip to back up but I''ve asked him to check with csa again...then he came back with a yearly amount then 320 a month...so is that 15 percent of what his yearly wage is...

A CSA application will cost you nothing (at the moment). He will have to produce wage slips. I know a lot of people hate the CSA but I will never regret applying. At least I know the money will come in each month. I also will never except direct payments from my ex as if he doesn''t pay the CSA can do little about arrears. I may have to wait 10 days extra each month to receive payments but having the CSA collect monies on my behalf is such a relief!

Have you tried using the csa calculator to work it backwards? I believe it comes up with a weekly figure. obviously that only tells you the salary he has entered, not necessarily his actual salary.
