When were they built up?

If they are wholly from the period that you have been separated then you should be able to ring fence them.

But if it is all there is and your ex has a need then you may end up having to pay some of them over to them.

If they were built up in the time you were together then they’re a matrimonial asset and the starting point for division will be 50/50
