Decree Nisi and a Financial Order in place.
The Order says -- "it follows from Decree Absolute".

Petitioner has still not applied for Decree Absolute. So can the Petitioner claim any payments until the Decree Absolute is in place?

No.
The financial order doesn’t come into effect until the decree absolute is granted.

Let us say, Decree Nisi and the Financial Order made in Jan 2024, states that from April 2024, the Respondent has to start paying the monthly spousal maintenance. (assuming that within this period Decree Absolute can be in place).
Now if the Petitioner applied and got the Decree Absolute, only in November 2024 -- Can the Petitioner now make claims for unpaid Maintenance for the period between April and November - now that the Decree Absolute is in place?
IF the Petitioner can still make the claim and it is valid, then any Interest payment be calculated because the Decree Absolute was not in place during the period?
