Can someone please clarify the following-
The order states concise narrative statement limited to 8 sides of A4 (not including exhibits)to be filed and seved 4 weeks prior to final hearing Bundle to be filed and served at least 7 days before final hearing.
Please help because I find it quite confusing. Considering that the statement is to be filed/served 3 weeks before the bundle how can the statement be expected to make reference to the exhibits when the bundle will not have been completed and agreed

The s25 is a précis of the background to the matter and a detailed summary of needs and means, current and future. It takes into account the s25 factors (s25 of the 1973 Matrimonial Causes Act) that underpin financial settlement on divorce. There's a useful template the library. You need to focus on housing need, needs of children, income and earning capacity and income needs and future income provision and needs.
NB It doesn't necessarily include a settlement proposal; am open proposal may be submitted separately.
Although figures may change a bit when disclosure is updated this can be dealt with by a simple statement that the figures used may change when disclosure is updated.
The point of doing the s25 in advance is partly so each side can see the other's case and consider settling without the need for a hearing.

NB font size is 12pt, line spacing 1.5 and margins 2.5cm.

Thank you. Why do you think it says "not including exhibits"

It means your statement is limited to 8 pages. The exhibits are extra.

Thank you.
Please be kind enough to clarify another question. In s.25 statement when referring to the property, savings ,pensions and investments between the parties should debts (whether sole or joint) be taken into account and a net figure be shown, or just the gross figure before debts.
