I'm representing myself at the 1st appointment on 5th August. It will be done remotely. What do I need for my computer so I can attend the hearing via computer? Is there a standard communications eg zoom (I'm not IT savvy!

The court will be in contact a few days before the hearing to tell you the arrangements. Many courts are using a court video system a bit like Zoom. Some are doing telephone hearings and many first appointments are being adjourned and being made paper only hearings with position statements and agreed directions for the judge to sign off.

Thank you. I'll give them a ring to find out more. TBH that bit was stressing me as much as all the other stuff!

Hi, I'm also curious how this went as my FDA is now scheduled for November at the Holborn Family Court.
